Today’s question comes from Eric who wants to know, are there any storage units specifically for business inventory? Now that’s a good question. A lot of us are business owners, you might have a store or any type of business and you keep a lot of excess inventory that you don’t have the room for. Buying a bigger place or extending your property is very, very expensive and not always possible. So in these cases, having storage for your excess inventory is really a perfect, elegant, convenient solution for businesses. Now the type of storage you choose really depends on the type of inventory. For instance, if you own a grocery store or anything that has perishable inventory, you cannot and are not allowed to store it in a regular facility. You have to look for designated storage units that are refrigerated to keep that inventory safe and cool. If your business inventory is not perishable and it’s just any kind of regular items, toes, clothing, anything like that, you can actually store it in any storage facility. It’s not a problem, just like anybody else would store their household items. However, because you are running a business and you must be busy and don’t have a lot of time, you want to make sure that you put an emphasis on the convenience of it all. And so I personally recommend going for a portable storage option. With portable storage, you can choose either to keep your storage unit on site right near the store or business where you can access it anytime, or you can have it delivered for you whenever you need to by the storage provider. That way it’s much more convenient and you have all the access you need and you don’t have to waste all the space of your store or business just for that excess inventory. So Eric, basically it all depends on the type of inventory. Depending on what you wanna store, you have to look for the best option for you. Put a real emphasis on convenience because that’s really important. You don’t want to be running back and forth to a facility and that way you’ll make sure that your inventory stays safe but is also accessible to you whenever you need it
